Lynx Wine Estate was a good escape with its fine views of the vineyards and a luxurious room with amazing sunset vistas. Breakfast was a treat with fresh fruits and expertly prepared eggs. Especially during the fantastic wine tasting session guided by the knowledgeable Frances.

There were comfy beds and central heating, a personal safe, and multi-channel television in the a double room. There was a bath too. Location: the hotel was so close to Stellenbosch, surrounding mountains and a restaurant onsite. Also, Anthonij Rupert Wines was 4 miles away.

The location it offers is quiet and awesome, just next door to the vineyards and surrounding mountains. Double room is a nice size, has a comfortable bathroom. Everyone who works in the hotel is very friendly and attentive. Food options are fine.

Wow, the views from our Beautiful Suite were fine, especially those sunset vistas! The local eats were a hit, with the wine tastings being a culinary adventure. Plus, the space was impeccably clean and super comfy.
On the flip side, the noise from the road made chilling by the pool a tad disruptive, and remember, they only dish out food between 12-16, so dinner means a jaunt off-hotel.

We enjoyed a lovely stay with our kids and dogs at this guesthouse. A glass of local wine while taking in the vineyard views was bliss. We also loved exploring the area, especially the charming Franschhoek Wine Tram ride.
My kids wished the pool had a shallow area for them to play safely.
